I’m a teenage seamstress and fashion designer. I make my own clothes; sometimes I even tailor for people. I hate following people’s directions so I make my own. I’ve learned to sew and make patterns through trial and error, and am constantly aiming to figure out what works and what doesn’t. People say I should be a fashion designer, and I very well might turn out to be one someday. But that’s in Tomorrow and no one knows what that brings. Someday I could be a famous clothing designer living in Paris, France sitting on a trunk of money with a posse of seamstresses to order about at my fingertips, but today I am not. Today I’m just a weird seventeen year old trying to survive high school.
